Christopher Blackett
Christopher is a born-and-bred New Yorker, although he briefly left to go to Tufts University for his B.A. Formerly, he was a teacher for three years through Teach for America, and has an M.S in Education from Fordham University. Currently, he is enrolled in a dual MBA-MPA degree at NYU, and has been lucky enough to work with Endeavor and Ashoka.

Daniel Vitaletti
Daniel is an MPA student at NYU Wagner specializing in Social Innovation, Impact, and Investment. He currently works as an Associate Consultant and Project Manager for CECP, a CSR consulting firm that advises over 225 of the world’s leading companies representing $6.2 trillion in revenues, $18.4 billion in societal investment, and $15 trillion in assets under management. Daniel manages CECP’s portfolio of 400+ ESG/CSR consulting projects, advises companies on best-in-class corporate social impact strategy, and provides custom data analysis, benchmarking, and research services. He also serves as the CEO and co-founder of Unetrics IM+M, a dedicated impact measurement and management platform for CSR professionals, impact investors, and social enterprises.

Edward Dearie
Edward is a second-year MBA student at NYU Stern specializing in Strategy, Finance, and Sustainable Business and Innovation. Prior to Stern, Edward spent several years in the restaurant industry where he developed a passion for sustainable food systems and the role of businesses to find innovative solutions. During his time at Stern, Edward has had to opportunity to intern at Deloitte and to serve on the Board of the Social Impact and Sustainability Association. He holds a BA in Economics from The College of William & Mary.

Edward Hill *Deal Team Leader
Edward holds a BA/MA in Energy & Environmental Analysis from Boston University, where he studied the intersection of energy and climate across disciplines including economics, international relations, and data science. Prior to NYU, Edward served in product management at EnerNOC, a leader in energy intelligence software. At Stern, Edward is focused on sustainable finance and entrepreneurship. In his first year, his startup reached the finals of NYU’s $300K Entrepreneurship Challenge. This summer, he worked with Partners Group, a leading private equity firm, on their Responsible Investment fund as an Environmental Defense Fund Fellow.

Gabriel Ng *SAB President
Gabriel is a dual-degree MBA/MPA student at NYU and a fellow at the Stern Center for Business and Human Rights. He is deeply interested in the intersection of business and social impact, and spent the previous summer at the Bingham Centre researching rule of law issues in business and finance. Prior to attending graduate school, he worked as a lawyer at Shearman & Sterling, an international corporate law firm. Gabriel holds a M.A. Hons. (Law) from the University of Cambridge, Trinity Hall.

Gabriela Carrasco
Gabriela studied Business Administration and Political Sciences at Universidad Católica de Chile where she co-founded CoLab- a social innovation lab that works with other stakeholders towards systemic change. She is co-founder at 2811, a social enterprise in Chile that aims to contribute to the regenerative development of communities and environments through different practices such as social innovation. Expert in social innovation methodologies, the development of social entrepreneurship and the training of changemakers. She is a consultant for Ashoka in Latin America and currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration degree at NYU with a specialization in Social Impact, Innovation, and Investment.

Gregory W Gangelhoff
​
Gregory is a second-year MBA student at NYU Stern, specializing in Finance and Accounting. Prior to pursuing his MBA, he was an economist at the United States Agency for International Development and he served with Teach For America in Houston. He holds an MA in international economics and energy, resources, and the environment from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies, as well as a BS from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. In the summer of 2018, he was an investment banking Summer Associate in the Natural Resources group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Heather McGee Teodoro
​
Heather is a third-year graduate student at NYU Wagner, specializing in Social Impact, Innovation, and Investment. She studied political science in undergrad where she worked on local and state level political campaigns and fundraised for congressional candidates in Washington, DC. Heather's more recent experience includes working in finance at medium-sized hedge fund, followed by working in philanthropy at a family foundation. Heather is currently a freelance social impact consultant based in Boston.

Jamison Friedland
​
Jamison Friedland is a first-year MBA student specializing in Sustainable Business and Corporate Finance. Prior to NYU, Jamison graduated from Northwestern University as an economics major. He began his career trading, first in equity options before transitioning into fixed income, primarily interest rates. Before starting at Stern, Jamison interned with various social impact roles at organizations including Rainforest Alliance and NYU Stern Center for Sustainable Business.

Julianne Demarco\
​
Julianne is a second-year MBA student at NYU Stern, specializing in both Finance and Sustainable Business & Innovation. Prior to NYU, she worked in the Goldman Sachs Family Office, providing financial planning services to the firm’s Partners. She holds a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Specialization in International Business from Fordham University. This past summer, through Stern’s Center for Sustainable Business Fellowship, she interned in Bloomberg LP’s Sustainable Finance group.

Lucia Montalvo
​
Lucia was born and raised in Colombia. She is a first-year MBA student specializing in Finance and Social Impact & Innovation and actively pursuing a career in impact investing. She is a fellow at Stern’s Center for Sustainable Business and serves as Co-President of the Emerging Markets Association. Previously, she worked for six years in investment banking at BBVA’s M&A team and Bancolombia. Lucia graduated from Universidad de Los Andes with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering.

Luz Mila Lancheros
​
Luz Mila is a second-year MPA student at NYU Wagner specializing in Social Impact, Innovation and Investment. She is currently working at CECP: The CEO’s force for good as the Corporate Leadership Intern and serves as the Director of External Affairs at the Social Innovation and Investment Alliance (SIIA). She graduated as a Lawyer from Universidad de Los Andes in Colombia, her home country, and practiced for three years in the private sector, and one year in the public sector. Luz Mila is passionate about exploring the intersection of business and social impact, impact investment, corporate government affairs and the power of multi-sector partnerships.

Natalie Epelman
​
Natalie is a graduate student at New York University Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service. She is a candidate for a Masters in Public Administration, specializing in Social Impact, Innovation and Investment. Prior to beginning her graduate degree in the Fall of 2017, she was the Program Manager for the International Affairs Department at AIPAC in Washington, D.C. In this role, she engaged with the diplomatic community on various Israel issues. She received her B.A. in International Affairs from The George Washington University in May of 2012.

Nicole Shaia
Nicole is a second-year MPA student at NYU Wagner specializing in Social Impact, Innovation, and Investment. She is interested in advancing the intersection of private and public sectors through innovative partnerships and impact investment. Over the course of her career in the non-profit sector, she has helped organizations create successful fundraising strategies, develop community outreach initiatives, and establish meaningful cross-sector partnerships and collaborations. Nicole is currently the Donor Engagement Manager at an international humanitarian organization that is tackling global hunger. She has also worked for organizations that focused on veterans’ services and public health.

Nipho Msibi
Nipho is currently pursuing an MPA with a specialization in Social Impact, Innovation, and Investment and an African Women in Public Service Fellow. Nipho is a qualified Chartered Accountant with five years’ industry experience as an Investment analyst at a global investment bank. Her work experience spans across various sectors and multiple countries. Nipho was born and raised in a township in South Africa, her upbringing instilled in her a passion for social development and a desire to empower those who are marginalized.

Russell Lieberman
Russell is a second-year MBA student at NYU Stern, specializing in FinTech and Entrepreneurship. Prior to pursing his MBA, Russell worked as a Director of Sales at Bloomberg LP and Thomson Reuters. He holds a BA from Connecticut College, where he studied History. He is active in the entrepreneurship community at NYU, and is co-founder of an early stage startup focused on impact spending.
Samantha Creath *Deal Team Leader
Samantha Creath is a second-year MPA student specializing in Social Impact, Innovation, and Investment. Prior to attending Wagner, Samantha worked as a Client Associate at Merrill Lynch, where she managed the nonprofit and institutional client relationships for her team. She is passionate about improving the delivery of social services through data-driven decisions and is actively pursuing a career in impact investing. Currently, Samantha interns for the Local Initiatives Support Corporation’s Pay For Success team and is the Co-Chair of the Social Innovation and Investment Alliance (SIIA) at Wagner.
Simone Shaheen
Simone is a first-year MPA candidate focusing on Social Impact, Innovation, and Investment. She brings 4 years of experience working in microenterprise development for rural smallholder farmers in Kenya and Uganda. In this role, she was responsible for managing strategic partnerships within the scaling arm of the organization. Her team drove the first scaling project to the Democratic Republic of Congo. Prior to her field experience, she was a professional equestrian, managing global operations for a private company. Currently, she works for the Social Innovation & Investment Initiative at Wagner.

Sophia Valner *Deal Team Leader
​
Sophia is a dual-degree MBA/MPA student at NYU Stern and Wagner specializing in Social Impact, Innovation and Investment. Sophia is interested in merging her studies in policy and business by investing to create positive social and financial returns. In the Summer of 2018, she interned in Goldman Sachs's Healthcare Investment Banking Group. She holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania with a major in Health and Societies. After graduating from Penn, Sophia worked for Gerson Lehrman Group's Life Sciences Strategic Projects team, where she worked with Healthcare and Private Equity clients on end to end consulting projects. She is originally from Los Angeles, CA.
Sophie Hu *Deal Team Leader
Sophie is a second-year MPA student specializing in Social Impact, Innovation and Investment. Coming from China, she also holds a Master degree in International Politics. Sophie has worked for international NGOs such as Plan International, and also development agencies such as UNHCR, UNICEF USA, and UNDP. With prior experience in fundraising, public sector partnership and policy analysis, she looks forward to incorporating impact investment into her path and contributing to social development through innovative approaches.
Spencer Schloss
​
Spencer is a second-year MPA student at NYU Wagner specializing in Social Impact, Innovation, and Investment. She previously worked on case teams at the U.S. Department of Justice in the Criminal and Civil Antitrust Divisions. Spencer also interned at the UN Foundation where she focused on global crises and initiatives such as GirlUp. She has a B.A. in Public Policy and Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia, where she participated in the Philanthropy Lab and secured a $5,000 grant to the Summer Newcomer Academy focused on child refugees. Currently, Spencer is an Associate at Social Strategy Associates, a New York-based social impact consultancy.
Stephanie Chen
​
Stephanie is a second-year full-time MBA student. Stephanie grew up in Taipei, Taiwan and moved to the US for college. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering from UC San Diego and a Master’s degree in Geographic Information Science and Technology from USC. Prior to Stern, Stephanie was a Project Engineer at PlaceWorks, Inc. – an environmental consulting firm in California. As a Project Engineer, she modeled and analyzed air pollutant, greenhouse gas emissions, and traffic intersections to determine and mitigate potential environmental impacts of development projects. For the summer of 2018, she worked at IFC’s Climate Business Department.
Tom Miller

Tom Miller is a second-year MPA-PNP student at NYU Wagner specializing in Social Impact, Innovation, and Investment. He is interested in the power of capital markets to create sustainable and scalable solutions that can reduce the frequency and mitigate the impact of global conflicts. Prior to attending NYU Wagner, Tom spent three years as an executive recruiter, working to find and place portfolio CEO’s for Private Equity backed companies. Tom is also a U.S. Army Special Forces Officer with over twenty years of service. He holds a BS from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
Tyler Stone *Deal Team Leader

Tyler is a second-year MPA student at New York University’s Wagner School of Public Service, focused on impact investing, government effectiveness, and the intersection of the private and public sectors. He previously worked at several technology startups (some successful; some not so much), where he became passionate about applying his business skills to the public sector. He serves on the board of Wagner’s Social Innovation and Investment Alliance (SIIA) and graduated with a B.A. in Government from Georgetown University.

Vikram Gulati
​
Vikram is a second-year MBA student at the NYU Stern School of Business. He interned at the Boston Consulting Group in their London office. Prior to Stern, he worked for five years as a commercial banker for Citibank in India, managing large corporate client relationships. Vikram is an avid cyclist and runner, and also loves hiking in the Himalayas. He holds a Bachelors' degree in Engineering and a Masters' degree in Finance.
