

Anmol Ahuja
Anmol is a second-year MBA student at NYU Stern, specializing in Strategy, Corporate Finance, and Tech Product Management. Anmol currently works as a Senior Enterprise Risk Management Analyst for Liberty Mutual Insurance. Before his current role, he completed the Financial Management Rotational Program at Liberty Mutual, getting experience in various finance positions. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Finance with minors in Economics and Information Technology from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst.

Danielle B.
Danielle is a second-year MPA student at NYU Wagner, specializing in Social Impact, Innovation, and Investment. Prior to pursuing an MPA at Wagner, she held roles at various public and nonprofit organizations in three countries and across different issue areas, including education, immigration and migrant rights, and digital access and inclusion. In the summer of 2022, Danielle worked as a Monitoring and Evaluation intern at the United Nations in New York. Danielle was born and raised in the Philippines and holds a Bachelor's degree in European Studies and International Relations.

Jason Blake
Jason is a second-year MBA candidate at NYU Stern specializing in Finance and Sustainable Business & Innovation. Before Stern, Jason worked in commodities trading and several startups. This past summer, he was an investment banking Summer Associate at Guggenheim Partners. His interests lie at the intersection of renewable energy and marketplace platforms. Jason holds a Bachelor of Business in Finance from the University of San Diego.

Nissim Chandorkar
Nissim is a second-year MBA student at NYU Stern, specializing in Strategy, Finance and Leadership. Prior to Stern, Nissim led a $150MM Asian Development Bank-backed, Covid-19 response project to directly connect farmers and consumers through a sustainable digital platform. Before that, he co-founded an impact consulting start-up that deployed $30MM of philanthropy capital in India. Nissim started out in investment banking at J. P. Morgan, providing M&A advisory to Asia-Pacific clients. Past summer, he was a Summer Associate at McKinsey. Nissim holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Mumbai, and is a CFA Level 3 Candidate.

Kishwar Ahmed
Kishwar is an MBA student at NYU Stern, specializing in Strategy, Fintech, and Entrepreneurship and Innovation. He is interested in impact investing and entrepreneurship. While pursuing his MBA, Kishwar is currently a Senior Manager at Morgan Stanley based in New York. At Morgan Stanley, Kishwar leads internal audits and provides advisory services to stakeholders, in order to assess their business risks and improve their operational and financial processes. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Kishwar worked at TIAA and AIG within Internal Audit, covering Risk Management and Asset Management. Kishwar is also a Certified Fraud Examiner. Kishwar was born and raised in Queens, New York and earned a MS in Risk Management and Finance in Queens College and BBA in Accounting from Baruch College.

Lee-Anne Andanje
Lee-Anne is a second-year MPA student at NYU Wagner, specializing in Social Impact, Innovation, and Investment. Prior to Wagner, Lee-Anne worked as a corporate banking graduate at Citi Bank. She obtained her bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Pretoria. In the summer of 2023, she worked as an intern at the Andanje Foundation, which is focused on uprooting individuals and reducing the poverty gap in Kakamega, Kenya.

Riley Angarella
Riley is a second year MBA student interested in the intersection of finance and sustainability. This past summer, she interned on the sustainable investing team at a hedge fund, supporting the integration of ESG and measuring impact throughout the investment process. Prior to Stern, she spent 4 years working in merchandise financial planning at Saks Fifth Avenue. Riley is originally from Santa Monica, California and earned her BA in Communications from the University of Michigan.

Zahi Awad
Zahi is a junior at NYU Abu Dhabi majoring in Business, Organizations & Society with minors in Psychology and Economics. While diligently working towards his degree, he has worked as an Investment Analyst at Suits & Advisors, and as a Field Sales Representative for an early-stage startup called Let’s Rallie. Fueled by an intrinsic entrepreneurial spirit, Zahi successfully launched two ventures this past summer – Wafer Discounts and Habibi Yalla Travel. Moving forward, Zahi is dedicated to impact-driven entrepreneurship, aiming to forge collaborations that transcend boundaries and contribute to a more inclusive global landscape.

Vidhi Bhatia
Vidhi is a second-year MBA student at NYU Stern, specializing in Strategy, Finance, and Leadership and Change Management. Over the summer, she interned with AlixPartners, wherein she concentrated within the domain of Turnaround and Restructuring practices. Vidhi's professional journey encompassed significant tenures at Accenture and Concentrix, where she assumed pivotal roles in finance. In these capacities, she provided her expertise in areas of Financial Advisory and Corporate Finance. Prior to Stern, Vidhi completed the Chartered Accountancy program, equivalent to Certified Public Accountant within the US. Preceding this, she successfully pursued her undergraduate studies, culminating in a bachelor’s degree in commerce.

Pedro Brito de Sa
Pedro is a second-year part-time MBA student at NYU Stern specializing in Entrepreneurship, Strategy and Healthcare. He is currently leading Analytics at Sage, a healthtech startup in senior living. Healthtech has been his passion since university but most of his career has been in credit risk and personal finance. Originally from Portugal, he worked at KPMG and a startup in those spaces before moving to New York to work at Google. He is also an occasional Data Strategy consultant for small businesses. Pedro holds a BSc and MSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Lisbon.

Adam Brown
Adam is a second-year MBA student at NYU Stern interested in sustainable alternatives to traditional economic growth models. He previously worked in economic development for the British Consulate in San Francisco before transitioning to Guggenheim Partners. He spent his summer internship on Guggenheim’s Capital Structure and Sovereign Advisory team, where he focused on the intersection of public and private sector restructuring. Adam grew up in Sun Valley, Idaho and earned an MA in International Relations from the University of Edinburgh.

Ruoyu Cai
Ruoyu is a second-year MPA student at NYU Wagner, specializing in Social Impact, Innovation, and Investment. Before joining Wagner, he served as an application developer at IBM, offering cloud computing support to Japanese firms and spearheading business development in the EMEA region. Last summer, he contributed to a research initiative co-founded by the International Finance Corporation and the University of Geneva, focusing on a novel impact measurement framework. Ruoyu also has extensive experience in debt and equity investment and has held TA and tutoring roles. He earned his bachelor's in Finance and Operations Management from the University of Alberta.

Ivan Fang
Ivan (Xiaoru) is currently pursuing his Master of Public Administration from New York University with a specialization in Social Impact, Innovation, and Investment. Most recently, he served as an Impact Measurement intern with the International Finance Corporation (IFC). Prior to attending NYU, he worked as an Investment fellow at Origin Investment and DigitalDX, two venture capital firms focused on early-stage biotech/biopharma investments. Ivan has also conducted independent research on the antipoverty effect of the Earned Income Tax Credit program (EITC). He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

Elena Gan
Elena, a second-year MPA at NYU Wagner, specializes in Social Impact, Innovation, and Investment. With global experience in China and the U.S., she interned at leading investment banking firms: China Securities (IPO for a fintech) and China Merchant Securities (fixed-income issuances). Merging her passion for capital markets and sustainability at NYU, Elena became an ESG analyst intern for a boutique broker in 2022 fall, directing capital to ESG funds. She contributed to projects in agriculture and clean energy. Elena earned dual Bachelor's degrees in International Business and English Literature and is a CFA Level I candidate.

Camila Garcia
Camila Garcia is a junior at NYU Abu Dhabi majoring in Economics and minoring in Social Research and Public Policy. While pursuing her degree, she has gained experience in business and content development in DREAM, and valuable social impact consulting experience being part of the PwC & Paragone One externship programme. She is currently an operations Intern at Sarwa, a leading fintech startup in the Middle East that strives to make investing simple, affordable, and accessible to everyone. Long term, Camila strives to work in the intersection between finance and social impact.

Shadad Hossain
Shadad is an undergraduate junior at NYU Abu Dhabi, majoring in Economics with a minor in Applied Math. He is passionate about impact ventures and venture capital, specifically those working with food waste. Shadad has prior internship and volunteering experiences at an alternative investment advisory firm where he was responsible for managing fund managers CRM as well as financial modeling. He is also a member of Effective Altruism’s NYU Abu Dhabi chapter. Shadad enjoys solving case questions and hopes to pursue a career in management consulting.

Nicole Jagernauth
As a second-year MPA student at NYU Wagner, Nicole specializes in Social Impact, Innovation and Investment. Whilst pursuing her degree, she currently works at Bloomberg LP as a Sales Account Manager. Prior to this, she held the role of a Bloomberg Team Leader for 3 years, managing a Portfolio & Risk Analytics team. Nicole serves as the Co-Chair for the BRC, a non-profit that provides resources to those experiencing homelessness in NYC & as the NYU Wagner SIIA Events Co-Chair. Nicole holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Rutgers University and is passionate about bringing more economic opportunity for low income communities of color.

Minjae Kim
Minjae is an undergraduate junior at NYU Abu Dhabi, majoring in Business, Organizations, and Society and Interactive Media with minor in Social Research Public Policy. She is passionate about intersection of green bonds and corporate investments made with the intention to generate positive, measurable social and environmental impact alongside a financial return. Minjae has volunteering experiences in corporate sustainability and environmental NGO internships. In her prior internships, she analyzed data for environmental initiatives, created online green campaigns for media outreach, and assessed environmental risks. After graduation, she hopes to pursue a career in green tech start-up and impact ventures.

Tian Lan
Tian is an MBA candidate from NYU Stern with a specialization in finance. Before joining NYU, he earned his PhD in Materials Engineering from Northwestern University and held a role as a research scientist at Dow Chemical, where he led projects focused on the development of sustainable product innovations. Having studied and passed Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Level 3 Exam, Tian is enthusiastic about harnessing his unique blend of financial expertise and engineering insight to drive impactful changes.

Jeremy Lee
Jeremy is a second-year MBA candidate, specializing in Strategy and Financial Instruments and Markets, at Stern School of Business. Hailing from Taiwan, he holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Statistics from National Chengchi University and a prestigious CFA charter. Prior to his academic pursuits, Jeremy worked in a pivotal role at AllianceBernstein, a leading global asset management firm, where he excelled as a Product Manager and a Project Manager, overseeing the APAC region markets. Further enhancing his portfolio, Jeremy contributed his acumen as an MBA Intern at Prudential Investment Management during the preceding summer.

Lisa Liu
Lisa is a junior at NYU Stern studying Finance and (BS/MS) Accounting. She is interested in business and sustainability and hopes to mobilize capital for social good. In the summer of 2023, she interned at Springer Capital in Sustainable Finance as a capital advisory analyst. She also has experience working in non-profits and NGOs. Last year, she developed prototypes and projects as a millennium fellow under the United Nations Academic Impact. Lisa also works for Bridges for Enterprise in the Strategy Advisory team to help social entrepreneurs grow their business in the developing world. At NYU, she is the co-president of the Stern Accounting Society and was involved in Stern’s Social Impact Fellows Program. In the future, she intends to pursue a career at the intersection of finance, impact investment, and environmental conservation.

Shiyuan Liu
Shiyuan Liu is a second-year MPA student at NYU Wagner, specializing in Social Impact, Innovation, and Investment. Prior to NYU Wagner, he worked as an equity researcher assistant in Changjiang Securities in China focusing on agricultural industry research in China and America. This past summer, he worked in Ping An Group in China, where he worked as an equity researcher assistant focusing on the beverage industry, analyzing several companies in the industry. He graduated with a B.A in Labor and social welfare at Nanjing Agricultural University. He is passionate about ESG and impact investment.

Christina Lu
Christina is a second-year MBA student at NYU Stern specializing in Finance and Sustainable Business and Innovation. Prior to Stern, she was a vice president in the Accounting Policy Group at BlackRock. Before joining BlackRock, she was a manager in EY Financial Accounting Advisory Group, advising clients on accounting for complex transactions. In the summer of 2023, she worked as an Investment Banking Summer Associate at Citi. Christina is a CPA in NY and holds a BS in Business Administration from Xiamen University and an MS in Accounting from Syracuse University.

Kate Miller
Kate is an MBA candidate at NYU Stern specializing in Finance and Leadership. Prior to and during her MBA, Kate has worked for TE Connectivity, primarily in the automotive division. She started in an Operations and Manufacturing Engineering Rotation Program and then transitioned to Product Management, where she has been for over 3 years. Kate is on the leadership team for Stern Women in Business and Langone Student Government and is an active member of the Management Consulting Association and the Stern Technology Association. Kate holds a BS in Industrial and Systems Engineering from The Ohio State University.

Sangitha Mohan
Sangitha is a second year MBA student passionate about the intersection of finance, strategy and sustainability. She spent the past summer in the Principal Investors and Private Equity practice at Boston Consulting Group. Prior to business school, Sangitha was a part of Deloitte’s corporate finance team in India, focusing on M&A valuations and portfolio advisory for prominent VC and PE funds, including a global impact investing fund. Currently, Sangitha leads the South Asian Business Association at Stern and proudly serves on the the NYU Dean’s Council for Diversity and Inclusion. Hailing from Chennai, India, she holds a Chartered Accountant designation and is a CFA Level 3 candidate.

Aindrilla (Andy) Mukherjee
Andy is a second-year MBA candidate at NYU Stern specializing in Finance and Sustainable Business & Innovation. Prior to Stern, Andy worked at PwC India in their Corporate Finance and Investment Banking team, advising on asset sales and fundraising for ventures seeking growth equity. This past summer, she was an investment banking Summer Associate at J.P. Morgan. She has a keen interest in sustainability, and works part-time with the Centre for Sustainable Business at NYU Stern. Andy holds a Bachelors degree in Economics from the University of Delhi and a Masters degree in Finance from the London School of Economics, and is also a CFA Level 3 candidate.

Ugochi Obidiegwu
Ugochi Obidiegwu is the Founder of a Nigerian EdTech company, The Safety Chic which specializes in developing products and programs that increase safety consciousness in African children and reduce unintentional injuries. She has 7 years experience in developing education programs, products, and providing strategic insights for African founders of social impact initiatives. She has a degree in Communication and Language Arts from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria.

Sachi Reddy
Sachi is a junior at NYU Stern studying Business and Political Economy and minoring in Math. In the summer of 2023, Sachi interned at the private equity firm American Securities, where she conducted financial analysis, in addition to ESG due diligence for a live deal. Sachi previously assisted an NYU Stern professor with her research on paths to sustainability in the mining industry. On campus, she was also involved with the Social Impact Fellows Program and NYU Net Impact. Sachi ultimately hopes to pursue a career in private equity or venture capital that leverages her finance experience and impact-oriented mindset.

Sarah Reul
Sarah is an MBA candidate at NYU Stern, specializing in Finance and Sustainable Business. Sarah currently serves as Vice President of Development at City Harvest, the largest food rescue organization in New York City. There, she drives annual fundraising strategy and leads the revenue generating teams. Prior to her current role, Sarah worked at CCS Fundraising, a consulting firm that supports nonprofits, where she co-chaired the firm’s impact investing initiatives and managed clients’ development efforts to achieve their mission-driven goals. Sarah holds a Master’s degree in Education from Relay Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Government and Anthropology from Franklin and Marshall College.

Matias Rodriguez
Matias Rodriguez is a junior at NYU Abu Dhabi majoring in Economics and minoring in Mathematics. Matias’ has prior internship experience in social-impact consulting with PwC, and in business development at different startups. Additionally, he has been an active member of venture capital organizations like Violet Ventures in the UAE, and Makers in Ecuador. He is currently working in product management at Kriptos, an early-stage startup that offers cybersecurity to banks across Latin America using artificial intelligence. His passion for development economics fuels his drive to create sustainable solutions, while his keen interest in venture capital underscores his entrepreneurial spirit.

Nirav Shah
Nirav is a second-year MPA student at NYU Wagner, specializing in Social Impact, Innovation, and Investment. Prior to Wagner, Nirav was an entrepreneur with experience in consumer goods and food tech. The brand rights to his first company, Jivi, were acquired by Amazon. This past Summer, Nirav worked in El Salvador as an Operations Consultant to Acceso, increasing the efficiency of their microlending program to smallholder farmers, during Acceso's transition to a growth-stage social enterprise. He is passionate about measuring and scaling impact in organizations focused on food and sustainability. Nirav holds a BA in Middle Eastern Studies from NYU.

Yiming Shan
Yiming Shan is a second-year MPA student at NYU Wagner specializing in social impact, Innovation, and Investment. Before starting at Wagner, Yiming gained experience through internships at Ernst & Young's Climate Change & Sustainable Services division. She helped companies like Alibaba find ways to be more sustainable, like making plans to reduce carbon emissions. She also took part in the audit of sustainability-linked bonds issued by Baosteel. This summer, Yiming's focus on sustainability continues with an important internship at a sustainable nonprofit organization. She worked on collecting and looking at information about renewable energy, rules from the government, ways to cut pollution, and standards in different states in the US to help make education about being sustainable better. With lots of experience and a strong commitment to making the world more sustainable, Yiming Shan is ready to make a big impact in this field.

Devashish Taknet
Devashish Taknet is a second-year MPA student at NYU Wagner, specializing in Social Impact, Innovation, and Investment. With a solid background, he's a social finance and strategic partnerships professional, holding a Post Graduate Diploma in Development Management from ISDM and a Bachelors in Commerce (Hons.) from the University of Delhi. He brings 8 years of experience navigating the social impact landscape through various roles. Before joining Wagner, he managed over $2.3M for an international organization, empowering rural women and children across India. During the summer of 2023, he contributed to diplomatic efforts as he assisted the Consul (Trade) at the Consulate General of India, New York. Devashish's leadership is widely recognized, evident in scholarships, competition victories, and documentary features. Beyond his professional pursuits, he indulges in basketball, golf, and exploration. Notably, he currently serves as the co-Director of Partnerships for the NYU Social Innovation and Investment Alliance (SIIA).

Vishal Verma
Vishal is pursuing his second-year MBA at NYU Stern with a focus on Strategy, Corporate Finance, and Leadership. At present, he holds the position of Head of IT Strategic Partnerships at Con Edison, overseeing a portfolio worth over $800M+. Prior to this, Vishal spearheaded digital transformation initiatives for multiple clients within the utilities and finance sectors. He earned his master's degree in computer science from Fairleigh Dickinson University and completed his undergraduate studies in Computer Science from Maharishi Dayanand University in India

Brian Ward
Brian is a third-year MBA/MPA candidate at NYU Stern and NYU Wagner, studying cross-sector partnerships and corporate human rights strategy. He holds a BA from Case Western Reserve University in English and Political Science. Prior to graduate school, Brian was a Senior Consultant at Deloitte, based in San Francisco. Within Deloitte’s Government and Public Sector Practice, Brian engaged with health and human services agencies to modernize public services and respond to the COVID-19 pandemic. Most recently, Brian joined TALEA Beer Co., New York’s first and only women-owned production brewery, as Chief of Staff.

Jarrett Wells
Jarrett is a second-year Langone MBA student at NYU Stern. He currently works full-time as an Senior Account Manager at Google; he also works part-time in Investor Relations on Google Startups for Sustainable Development- it is his plan to obtain an internship next summer and finish as a full-time student. Jarrett is also a board member of the Stern Private Equity and Venture Capital club and his interests post-MBA are in Investment Banking, Private Equity, and Venture Capital. He holds a BS in Economics from Louisiana State University.

Tiantian Wu
Tiantian is a second-year MPA student at NYU Wagner, specializing in Social Impact. She is currently interning at NYC Housing Preservation Department as a project manager to provide low-cost financing to facilitate the rehabilitation of all types of affordable housing in the City of New York. She is passionate about building strategic partnerships between nonprofits and the private sector. She also volunteers as the US Office Lead in a nonprofit organization Asian Women Development Plan International dedicated to promote love and equality for all Asian women.

Ian Xiong
Ian is an undergraduate senior at NYU Stern majoring in Finance with minors in Computer Science and Mathematics. During the summer of 2022, he was a business analyst intern at Capital One where he worked on projects related to data analysis, risk management, and sector research. Ian is also a member of NYU’s Net Impact chapter where he gained experience with sustainable investing and social impact topics. In the future, he hopes to continue working at the intersection of finance and impact to drive social and environmental change.

Iris Yu
Iris is a second year MPA-PNP student at NYU Wagner, specializing in Social Impact, Innovation, and Investment. Iris earned a bachelor's degree in Economics from Nanjing Agricultural University and has been Vice President of the Red-Cross and Youth Volunteer Committee. Iris combines their skills in data analysis and public service to effect positive change. Currently interning as a Business Analyst at MJHS Health System, Iris leveraged data analysis tools such as STAT, SPSS, Python, and R to drive insights. Iris is also proficient in visualization tools with Tableau and Excel and transforming data into actionable intelligence. Iris is also a Data Research Manager in Equitable Education Global Exchange Inc, a nonprofit organization providing students in Portugal with the resources needed to support their life-long learning goals through equitable educational opportunities. By creating global experiences outside of their current underserved communities so they can overcome disadvantages and find success.

Emily Zhang
Emily is a Junior at NYU Stern studying Finance, Sustainable Business, Public Policy, and Management. She is passionate about leveraging capital to institute impactful change in businesses and public policy. Emily is specifically interested in supporting the environment and social mobility through business. At NYU, she is also involved in Scholars of Finance, an organization centered around inspiring financial leaders to steward the world’s capital to serve the greater good. Here, she has led and supported events such as ‘The Future of Sustainability.’ After graduation, she hopes to pursue a career focused on creating sustainable and direct positive social impact.

Qianqian Zheng
Qianqian Zheng is a second-year MPA student at NYU Wagner, specializing in Social Impact, Innovation, and Investment. Before Wagner, Qianqian had experience volunteering internationally assisting in rural and adult education to immigrants and refugees. During the summer, she worked at Cause Strategy Partners, where she managed data collation and analysis to connect Fortune 500 with the board of nonprofit organizations. She has a strong background in events management. She also serves as a Co-Director of Communication of the NYU Social Innovation and Investment Alliance (SIIA). Qianqian holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Russian Studies from Fudan University.
