Anmol Ahuja
Anmol is a second-year MBA student at NYU Stern, specializing in Strategy, Corporate Finance, and Tech Product Management. Anmol currently works as a Senior Enterprise Risk Management Analyst for Liberty Mutual Insurance. Before his current role, he completed the Financial Management Rotational Program at Liberty Mutual, getting experience in various finance positions. Danielle is a second-year MPA student at NYU Wagner, specializing in Social Impact, Innovation, and Investment. Prior to pursuing an MPA at Wagner, she held roles at various public and nonprofit organizations in three countries and across different issue areas, including education, immigration and migrant rights, and digital access and inclusion. In the summer of 2022, Danielle worked as a Monitoring and Evaluation intern at the United Nations in New York. Danielle was born and raised in the Philippines and holds a Bachelor's degree in European Studies and International Relations.

Jason is a second-year MBA candidate at NYU Stern specializing in Finance and Sustainable Business & Innovation. Before Stern, Jason worked in commodities trading and several startups. This past summer, he was an investment banking Summer Associate at Guggenheim Partners. His interests lie at the intersection of renewable energy and marketplace platforms. Jason holds a Bachelor of Business in Finance from the University of San Diego.

Nissim is a second-year MBA student at NYU Stern, specializing in Strategy, Finance and Leadership. Prior to Stern, Nissim led a $150MM Asian Development Bank-backed, Covid-19 response project to directly connect farmers and consumers through a sustainable digital platform. Before that, he co-founded an impact consulting start-up that deployed $30MM of philanthropy capital in India. Nissim started out in investment banking at J. P. Morgan, providing M&A advisory to Asia-Pacific clients. Past summer, he was a Summer Associate at McKinsey. Nissim holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Mumbai, and is a CFA Level 3 Candidate.
Karen Chu
Karen is a second year MBA student interested in the intersection of innovation, finance, and
social impact. She spent the past summer working as a strategist at Obran Cooperative, a social
enterprise focused on worker ownership, and spent the previous semester working as a research
assistant for the Invest SDG NYC Initiative at the NYU Center for Sustainable Business. Prior
to graduate school Karen spent five years as a financial analyst covering the business services
sector and ESG finance. Originally from Ottawa, Canada, Karen grew up in Connecticut and
earned her BA in Public Policy from the University of Chicago.

Madison Friedman
Madison is a second-year MPA student at NYU Wagner, specializing in Social Impact, Innovation, and Investment. She previously led operations for the non-profit Up to Us, where she helped execute record-breaking voter registration and public health campaigns targeted toward Gen-Z. She most recently worked for LDP Ventures, an impact venture fund that identifies and invests in disruptive technologies across sectors sharing a common goal to better the world. Madison serves as the Co-Chair of the NYU Social Innovation and Investment Alliance (SIIA) and holds a BS in Political Science from Tulane University.
Ben Goodwin
Ben is a second-year MPA student at NYU Wagner, specializing in Social Impact, Innovation, and Investment. Prior to Wagner, Ben spent eight years working in the outdoor education industry, building his passion for leadership development and environmental stewardship. In the summer of 2022, he supported a variety of strategy and impact-related functions as a Summer Associate at NY Green Bank. Ben also has experience in the field of international development, both as an intern with the UN in Rome, Italy, and at the University of Wisconsin – Madison, where he earned his BA in International Studies with a Certificate in Italian.
Sam Green
Sam is an MBA candidate at NYU Stern specializing in Accounting, Finance, and Real Estate. Prior to Stern, Sam worked in PwC’s Advisory practice for 4 years and took a 2-year hiatus from consulting to run a nonprofit bereavement organization called Experience Camps. He now works as the Strategy Manager for his family’s philanthropic foundation with a focus on serving the Greater Philadelphia community. Sam is an active board member of the Stern PEVC Club, Stern Real Estate Club, and Langone Student Government. Sam holds a BBA from Emory University concentrating in Finance and Strategy.
Jordana Grunfeld
Jordana Grunfeld is a former political and public affairs communications strategist.
She specialized in paid media production and developed comprehensive messaging campaigns
for local and national clients, such as Bloomberg 2009, the Democratic Congressional Campaign
Committee, NARAL Pro-Choice New York, Everytown for Gun Safety and Verizon. Jordana is
currently an MPA-PNP candidate at NYU Wagner focusing on Social Impact, Innovation and
Investment. She serves on several non-profit boards, including Madison Square Park
Conservancy, Youth Renewal Fund and American Friends of Migdal Ohr. Jordana resides in the
Flatiron neighborhood with her husband and four children.
Saumya Gupta
Saumya is a second-year MBA student at NYU Stern, specializing in Strategy, Healthcare and Entrepreneurship & Innovation. Prior to Stern, Saumya had a healthcare startup in India. Jun Bin Ho
Jun Bin is a junior at NYU Abu Dhabi majoring in its new Business, Organisations and Society Major and minoring in Computer Science. Whilst pursuing his degree, he has worked with leading VC funds in Singapore, Accelerating Asia and Golden Gate Ventures, across fundraising and investments, as well as with the Boston Consulting Group as a product analyst building its FinTech Business Intelligence Platform, the FinTech Control Tower. He is currently an analyst with Tribe Fintech, an early-stage startup offering banks an ecosystem-in-a-box solution for SME banking.
Jagger Huang
Jagger Huang is a second-year MPA student at NYU Wagner, specializing in Social Impact, Innovation, and Investment. Prior to pursuing her MPA, she worked at China Alliance of Social Value Investment (CASVI), where she was a Project Manager focused on ESG rating for Chinese listed companies. This past summer, Jagger interned as an ESG Analyst at a boutique broker dealer that raises institutional capital for ESG funds, where she assisted several projects in agriculture, clean energy, and ocean revitalization. In January 2022, Jagger co-launched a platform, FindCharity, to help Chinese nonprofit organizations scale by improving transparency and increasing interaction with the public. She holds a LLB in Anthropology from Sun Yat-sen University.
Todd Jelen
Todd Jelen is a first-year EMPA student at NYU Wagner. Prior to enrolling at NYU, Todd had a successful 16-year career in investing and management roles at Varde Partners, a global investment management firm with over $13 billion of assets under management based in Minneapolis. Todd served as portfolio manager for a global asset-based lending fund and head of research for the U.S. corporate credit strategy. He also played a key role in fundraising. Prior to joining Varde, Todd was an investment banking analyst and associate at Lehman Brothers. Todd graduated with a B.A. in Economics from Dartmouth College.
Jai Joshi
Jai is an undergraduate junior at NYU Stern, studying Finance and Computer Science. During the summer of 2022, he was a corporate banking intern at Citi on the healthcare and industrials mobility teams. Here, he gained exposure to clean energy finance products as they pertain to the EV space as well as traditional bank lending. Jai also has prior experience working in the government grants space, evaluating proposals from educational and professional services providers on how to enhance the local workforce and economy. Long term, he aspires to pursue a career at the intersection of finance, technology, and social impact.
Juan Junca Neira
Juan is a second-year MPA student specializing in Social Impact, Innovation, and
Investment. Before and during his graduate work at Wagner, Juan worked as a consultant
in urban development projects in North and South America. He has worked on metropolitan
and regional plans, economic competitiveness strategies, and design solutions for cross-
sector urban development in developed and developing economies. Juan co-founded the
First Level foundation, which focused on supporting human development through sports,
art, and education. He holds a B.S. with honors in Urban Management and Development
from the Universidad del Rosario in Colombia
Eva Kim
Eva Kim is a second-year MPA student at NYU Wagner specializing in social impact, Innovation, and Investment. She holds her BA degree in international development studies from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). Eva Kim has a multicultural background. Through her journey, she has learned how to provide better solutions for developing countries regarding global common issues, inequality, and politics. She worked as a business consultant at Korea Trade Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA). She also worked at Samsung Asset management as a CFO assistant. She is interested in ESG, impact investment and cooperate finance. She is a CPA candidate.
Alexandra Kotis
Alexandra Kotis is an MPA-PNP student specializing in Social Impact, Innovation, and Investment. She is currently the Philanthropy Fellow at The New York Community Trust where she supports the environmental, arts, and community development grantmaking program areas. Prior to Wagner, Alexandra served as Program Manager at the Downtown Brooklyn Partnership, where she catalyzed local economic development by engaging community partners in public space. Alexandra serves as the Co-Director of External Affairs of the NYU Social Innovation and Investment Alliance (SIIA) and represents Wagner to the entrepreneurial community at NYU and beyond.
Lori Lam
Lori is a third-year dual MPA-MPH student at NYU Wagner and NYU Global Public Health specializing in Social Impact, Innovation and Investment. Prior to pursuing her graduate degrees, she worked as a Program Assistant for CYCLE Kids, where she oversaw the nonprofits expenses, revenue and grants. During the summer of 2021 and 2022, she did internships for UNICEF and Cause Strategy Partners, where she worked on projects related to program management, strategic development and data analysis. At NYU, she has served as the Mentorship Chair of Wagner Womxn. She is also a native New Yorker.
SunJeong Lee
SunJeong is a MBA student at NYU Stern, specializing in Sustainability, Finance and Strategy. She has worked in the public sector with NGOs and in higher education in multidisciplinary roles, including program management, strategy implementation and financial operations. SunJeong is passionate about the intersection of business and social impact, and hopes to play an integral role in delivering better business practices to achieve the triple bottom line through partnerships. She hails from South Korea and holds a B.A. with honors in International Relations and Psychology from NYU and MPA from NYU Wagner for International Policy and Management.
Elizabeth Maguire
Elizabeth is a MPA candidate at NYU Wagner specializing in Social Impact, Innovation, and Investment. She is currently the Associate Director of Donor Relations at NYU Stern, where she manages donor stewardship and fundraising initiatives. Before Stern, Elizabeth worked in fundraising and communications for four years at Coro New York Leadership Center, a leadership development nonprofit. Elizabeth graduated magna cum laude from NYU with a B.A. in History and minors in Spanish and Economics. She has served on the junior board of the New York Immigration Coalition and is an alumna of the Fellowship for Emerging Leaders in Public Service.
Quinn Mao
Quinn Mao is a second-year MPA student at Wagner studying social impact, investment, and innovation. She currently works as Impact Investment and Partnership Lead at Social Enterprise Ghana, facilitating various cross-continental collaborations to support African social entrepreneurs. She is also the program coordinator at P.E.A.R.L. Institute of New York, promoting mental wellness for the AAPI community. Quinn Mao studied Sociology and Chinese Philosophy at Fudan University and transferred to the School of Institute of Chicago, where she earned her BFA in Arts Administration. She is passionate about exploring self-organizing structure, devising innovative solutions to tackle systematic problems. She strives to build a social enterprise ecosystem that changes global structural inequality and supports the sustainable development of underdeveloped areas.
Sahil Mulji
Sahil is a junior at NYU Stern concentrating in Finance and Sustainable Business with a minor in Advanced Mathematical Methods. He is interested in leveraging financial systems to improve environmental conservation and prevent climate change, with a focus on natural-based solutions. This summer he supported the credit team at Generate Capital, one of the leading companies investing in and operating sustainable infrastructure. There he performed due diligence, conducted market research, and built financial models. After graduation, he intends to pursue a career where he can use his experience and skills to generate the greatest possible impact.
Emely Paulino
Emely is a second-year MPA student at NYU Wagner, specializing in Social Impact, Innovation, and Investment. She is currently the Research Associate at The Posse Foundation, a scholarship and leadership development program for public high school students in the United States. At NYU, Emely is a member of the NYU Leadership Initiative's Social Sector Leadership Diversity Fellowship cohort for 2022-2023 and serves as the Mentorship Co-Chair for Wagner Womxn. She holds a B.A. in Spanish Studies from Bard College.
Daniel Purpura
Daniel is a second-year MBA student at NYU Stern specializing in Strategy and Finance. Prior to Stern, Daniel was a manager within Deloitte & Touche's Risk and Financial Advisory practice working with clients to improve their operational and financial processes. He holds a B.A. in Business Economics from UCLA and a CPA license. Over the summer, Daniel was an intern at Strategy& in Los Angeles. During Fall 2022, he will be a Buy-Side Equity Research Intern with Charlemagne Capital performing value-focused equity research across global companies.
Felipe Ramirez
Felipe Ramirez is a part-time MPA student at NYU Wagner specializing in Social Impact, Innovation, and Investment. During the summer of 2022, he was a New Futures Fellow examining climate change and Web3 and also a Sustainable Investment Fellow focused on blue carbon and impact investing in the Caribbean. Felipe also serves as the Co-Director of External Affairs for NYU’s Social Innovation & Investment Alliance (SIIA) and was previously the Co-Director of Events. He graduated from Hamilton College with a B.A in Geosciences.
Barbara Ricci
Barbara is the Founding Principal at Ricci Advisors, a consultant to social enterprises including
for profit and nonprofit organizations. Prior to Ricci Advisors she was the Founding Executive
Director at Mindful Philanthropy, a nonprofit organization that engages, educates and convenes
philanthropies around cutting-edge investments in well-being. Barbara retired from a 30-year
career on Wall Street to fully devote her time to improving outcomes in mental health, addiction,
and community well-being.
She earned her BA from Franklin and Marshall College and her EMPA from New York
University’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service in 2019.
Will Samuels
Will is a second year MBA student at NYU Stern specializing in Finance and Entrepreneurship. Prior to Stern, Will worked in Financial Planning and Analysis at Santander Bank and as a Structured Investments Specialist at SIMON markets, a Goldman Sachs spin-off. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Franklin and Marshall College and was a four-year starter on the varsity tennis team. In the summer of 2022, he was a sales and trading Summer Associate at Morgan Stanley’s HQ in New York City.
Rishit Saxena
Rishit is an undergraduate junior at NYU Abu Dhabi, majoring in Business, Organizations, and Society with minors in Computer Science, Applied Math, and Economics. He is passionate about impact ventures, venture capital, and blockchain technologies. Rishit has prior internship and volunteering experiences in corporate venture capital, community management, and web3. He is an Arete fellow and an active member of the Effective Altruism movement. Rishit hopes to pursue a career in early-stage impact ventures or venture capital, focusing on enabling growth and product development.
Isabella Felipa Schumann
Isabella is a second-year Langone MBA student at NYU Stern, specializing in Corporate Finance and Strategy. Prior to Stern, Isabella was an associate at K2 Integrity, an investigative consulting firm. She also has experience working in non-profits and government. Outside of work, Isabella was an active pro-bono consultant helping founders of non-profits and social enterprises grow their organizations. In the summer of 2022, she was a Summer Associate at Partners Group, a private equity firm headquartered in Switzerland, where she focused on governance, diversity, and inclusion projects. Isabella holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Art History from New York University. She is originally from Brazil and speaks five languages.
Julie Tzeng
Julie is a second year MBA student specializing in Sustainable Business and Innovation and Corporate Finance. She is currently working as an associate intern at Plum Alley Investments, an early stage VC firm. Prior to Stern, Julie founded two retail tech startups - Arshae, circular 3D printed footwear, and Tote - an AI-driven discovery and analytics platform. She comes from eight years of experience as a footwear designer for international companies such as Aldo Group and JustFab. She became passionate about sustainability and impact through spearheading sustainability initiatives in product development. Julie holds a degree in fine arts and psychology from UCLA.
Gustavo Valverde Rezende
Currently a second-year MBA student at NYU Stern, Gustavo is originally from Brazil. He has a bachelor’s in business administration from Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora and a master’s in finance from IBMEC. Before joining Stern, Gustavo worked in management consulting, public management, and corporate finance before joining Eureca, a purpose-driven startup, as Chief Financial Officer. His latest job was as Strategy & Finance Leader at Grupo Anga, Eureca’s parent company, overlooking a portfolio of six purpose-driven companies. Last summer, Gustavo worked as an Investment Banking Summer Associate at Credit Suisse in New York.
Melodie Wang
Melodie is a Senior at NYU Stern studying Finance, Sustainable Business, and Environmental Studies. In the Summer of 2022, she interned at JP Morgan Chase in the Middle Market and Specialized Industries team in the Commercial Bank. She also has prior professional experience interning as an Impact Investment Research Intern at Bridges for Enterprise, a global nonprofit focused on offering pro-bono advisory services to social entrepreneurs in the developing world. At NYU, she is also involved in NYU Stern's Social Impact Fellows Program and is the current Vice President of Net Impact, NYU's social impact in business club where she also previously served as Treasurer. Melodie is passionate about mental health, the intersection of business and environmental science, and is specifically interested in the venture capital and entrepreneurial finance space, where she hopes to create impact by harnessing the power of capital, directing it to the people and communities who need it most.
Mike Wang
Mike is a second-year MBA student at NYU Stern, specializing in Business Analytics, Corporate Finance, and Strategy. Prior to Stern, Mike gained extensive financial and deal experience working as an Associate at KPMG Corporate Finance for middle market investment banking and as a Staff Accountant at Deloitte. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting from University of Toronto. Mike has also been a board of director at Students Offering Support, an international nonprofit organization that focuses on providing educational opportunities to kids in developing countries in Latin America. Eric Wu
Eric Wu is an MBA student at NYU Stern, specializing in Finance, Strategy and Management. He is interested in impact investing and sustainable finance. While pursuing his MBA, Eric is currently a Senior Manager at KPMG Asset Management Practice based in Stamford, CT. At KPMG, Eric leads the annual audits of several multi-billion hedge and private equity funds. Eric is also a Certified Public Accountant in both NY and CT. Eric was born and raised in China, and earned a MS in Accounting and BS in Finance and Accounting from Northeastern University.
Sarah Young
Sarah Young is a second-year MPA student at NYU Wagner, specializing in Social Impact,
Innovation and Investment. She is currently the Operations Lead at San Francisco-based
startup, Roofr, where she has developed workflows and procedures for the fast-growing team.
During the summer of 2022, Sarah worked on the Food Security Unit at the US International
Development Finance Corporation, where she helped to originate debt investments in
agri-businesses in developing countries. Sarah serves as the Co-Chair of WagnerCares, a
volunteerism student group, and holds a BA in Rhetoric and Public Advocacy from Indiana
University.
